Nervous about handing my 718 over to a detailer, any recommendations?

Maybe I'm being precious but I've never let anyone outside the dealer touch my 718 and now I'm considering getting it detailed properly for the first time. It's a black car, which as everyone knows is a nightmare, and I've got some light swirling from my own poor washing technique that I want corrected before it gets worse. The thing is, I've heard too many stories of detailers treating a Porsche like a Corolla, using rotary polishers on soft paint or leaving compound in panel gaps. A guy at a track day mentioned a Specialized Porsche detailing shop in Musaffah Industrial and said they actually understand these cars, but I want more than one person's word before I commit. Specifically I'd like to know if they do paint depth readings before polishing, because I'm terrified of someone removing too much clear coat on a car I plan to keep long term. Has anyone here let a specialist detail their Porsche and how was the experience? Also, is it worth doing PPF at the same time or is that overkill?
