Jag är eventuellt intresserad av en dart som ligger på blocket. Då jag är ganska oerfaren när det gäller amerikanare behöver jag eran hjälp. Nuvarande ägare fick tag i bilen utan motor och låda och stoppade i en 318 från en van och en automatlåda, bilen är obes.
Enligt blocket är bilen reggad med 145hk, transportstyrelsen 107 kw. Nuvarande ägare vet inte om den är reggad med v8 eller v6 i papprena. Så hur tar jag reda på vilken motor som bilen är reggad med? Det ska sitta manuell låda men det får jag isf regga om, dock vet jag inte om jag vill krångla med att regga om med motor också.

Motorn är nog 3.7:ans V6:a

Så vitt jag vet så monterades det väl rak 6:a (inte v6) eller v8 i dessa bilar.
Jag antar att det är en äldre iaf.

Många stoppade då i 318 motorer för att enkelt få en v8.
Dessa 2 motorer hade likvärdig effekt och var då aldrig nåt problem att regga in med V8.
En del sa även att det aldrig behövdes reggas.

Den raka sexan fanns med upp till 145hk,
och 318 med 140-155hk (som den motorn som jag hade i min Volare -77).
En sniknare 5210 cc 318 kunde allts å ha mindre hk (140) än den största 6:an.
Alltså är det då ingen omöjlighet att den bara slinker igenom,
för det finns inga beteckningar i regbeviset som säger vilken cylindertyp som sitter i.
